Louisville big man Gorgui Dieng will play Saturday in the Cards annual battle with Kentucky. Wednesday night coach Rick Pitino told CBSSports.com Dieng is "100 percent." Dieng went through a full-contact practice earlier Wednesday for the first time since breaking his wrist November 23rd.
"He's in great shape," Pitino said. "His defensive timing is off, but he looks good offensively," Pitino said.
Without Dieng, the Cardinals lost their only game of the season to No. 1 ranked Duke. The 6-11 native of Senegal has developed into one of the top big men in the country, averaging 8.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and two blocks.
